Scientists test new combo to flush out hidden HIV
NCT ID NCT05230368
Summary
This small, early-stage trial tested whether a combination of two existing drugs was safe for people with well-controlled HIV. The goal was to see if these drugs could 'wake up' hidden, dormant virus in the body so the immune system might better control it. Nine men with stable HIV participated to help researchers understand the safety and potential of this approach.
