HIV patients prefer general hospital or special clinic? study finds out
NCT ID NCT06159894
Summary
This study looked at whether people living with HIV prefer to receive their long-acting injection treatment at a general hospital day unit or at a specialized HIV clinic. Researchers enrolled 90 participants who were already prescribed this injectable medication and randomly assigned them to one of the two locations. The main goal was to measure patient satisfaction and the practical feasibility of receiving care in these different settings over 12 months.
