Massive HIV study seeks permission to use old samples for new research

Summary

This study asks people who participated in past HIV clinical trials for permission to use their leftover blood and tissue samples for future research. The goal is to allow scientists to study these stored samples to better understand HIV, which could include genetic testing. Participants can choose whether to allow their samples to be used and whether to provide one additional blood sample specifically for DNA archiving.
