Scientists test new shot in quest to shrink HIV's hidden hideouts

Summary
This early-stage study is testing an experimental drug, VH3810109, to see if it can reduce the hidden, inactive HIV that persists in the body even with standard treatment. It will involve 100 adults living with HIV, including some just starting treatment and others who have been on stable treatment for years. The main goal is to measure if the drug safely shrinks this hidden viral reservoir, which is a key hurdle to better controlling the infection long-term.
