First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looks at whether switching from daily oral HIV pills to a long-acting injectable treatment can reduce the hidden virus in the body, lower inflammation, and improve gut health. Researchers will follow 120 people with HIV who have well-controlled virus levels. The goal is to see if the injectable option offers extra benefits beyond keeping the virus suppressed.
