Reaching the unreached: new approach tests HIV prevention in community spaces
NCT ID NCT05949814
Summary
This study tested whether offering HIV prevention medication (PrEP) and STI testing through community outreach could reach men who have sex with men who might not otherwise access healthcare. Researchers used both digital apps and physical community spaces to connect with 209 participants in France. The goal was to see if this approach made people more willing to start PrEP and get tested for sexually transmitted infections.
