New push to slash HIV rates in southern hotspots
NCT ID NCT05075967
Summary
This study is testing a coordinated community strategy to improve access to HIV prevention and care services for men who have sex with men (MSM) at highest risk in the Southern United States. It aims to increase the number of high-risk men using healthcare facilities, boost prescriptions of preventive medication (PrEP) for those without HIV, and improve retention in care for those living with HIV. The ultimate goal is to reduce new HIV infections in these communities.
