New program aims to protect older women from HIV
NCT ID NCT07181616
Summary
This study is testing whether a group-based HIV prevention program designed specifically for older Black women can improve their HIV knowledge, condom use, and testing habits. Researchers will compare 60 women who receive the program immediately to those on a waitlist to see if the program works. The goal is to create a culturally tailored prevention approach that fits the lives and experiences of women aged 50 and older.
