HIV shot location study: does place matter?
NCT ID NCT06159894
First seen Mar 09, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study involved 90 adults with HIV who were already prescribed a long-acting injectable medication. Researchers wanted to see if patients preferred getting their shots at a regular HIV clinic or at a multi-purpose day hospital. Participants filled out questionnaires about how acceptable and easy the location was. The study did not test any new drug—it only looked at where the shots were given.
