Summary

This study tested two different two-drug combinations in 61 HIV patients who had never taken protease inhibitors before. The goal was to see if these combinations could lower the amount of virus in the blood to very low levels (below 50 copies/mL) after 16 weeks. The study also checked for side effects and changes in body weight.
