Scientists launch bold trial to flush out and kill hidden HIV

Summary
This trial is testing a new approach to try to cure HIV. It combines three existing drugs to 'wake up' the hidden virus that persists in the body even with standard treatment, aiming to help the immune system find and destroy these infected cells. The study will involve 30 adults with well-controlled HIV to first find the safest and most effective drug combination, then test it over four weeks to see if it reduces the amount of hidden virus.
