First human tests begin for experimental HIV antibody treatment

NCT ID NCT06652958

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety and how the body processes a new antibody called VH4527079 in healthy adults and people living with HIV. Researchers are giving single doses by injection or IV to healthy volunteers, and multiple IV doses to a small group of people with well-controlled HIV. The main goal is to see if the antibody is safe and to measure how long it stays in the bloodstream.
