New injection could ease agony after hip surgery

Summary
This study is testing if a steroid injection given around the new hip joint during replacement surgery helps patients recover better. It aims to see if the injection reduces pain, shortens hospital stays, and lessens the need for strong painkillers after surgery. The study will involve 110 patients aged 50-90 who are having hip replacement due to a fracture.
