First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study compares two types of nerve blocks—lumbar erector spinae plane block and fascia iliaca plane block—for pain relief after hip surgery. 200 adults undergoing hip surgery will receive one of the blocks, and their pain will be checked every 2 hours using a simple pain scale. The goal is to see which block provides better pain control and reduces the need for extra painkillers.
