Scoping out the best fix for aching hips

NCT ID NCT04166227

Summary

This study aimed to find out which surgery works better for people aged 40-60 with early hip arthritis: a less invasive 'clean-up' procedure (arthroscopy) or a full hip replacement. It compared how much pain relief and improved movement each surgery provided, as well as which was more cost-effective. The trial was small and ended early, so its findings are limited.
