Hip implant study pulled before it began
NCT ID NCT05591859
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study was designed to see how well a specific hip implant (the Restoration Anatomic Acetabular Shell) works in people who need a second hip replacement because the first one failed. The plan was to follow patients over time to check if the implant stayed in place without problems. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available.
