New hip surgery aims to keep young patients active longer

NCT ID NCT06792539

Summary

This study is testing a new hip resurfacing device as an alternative to a full hip replacement for younger, active adults with hip arthritis. The goal is to see if this procedure, which removes less bone, is as safe and effective as traditional surgery while allowing for higher activity levels. Researchers will follow 238 participants for two years to measure pain, function, and device performance.
