Researchers put hip replacement walking tests to the test
NCT ID NCT07186400
Summary
This study aimed to check if two specific walking and turning tests are reliable and useful for people who have had a total hip replacement. Researchers had 54 patients perform a figure-eight walk and a 360-degree turn test, repeating them an hour later to see if results were consistent. The goal was to understand if these tests can accurately measure walking ability and balance after hip surgery.
