New hip implant tested for patients with fragile bones

NCT ID NCT06768541

Summary

This study looked at a shorter hip replacement implant for people with a specific type of weak thigh bone structure. It followed 108 patients for at least two years to see if the implant settled or shifted after surgery. The main goal was to check if this shorter design provides enough stability for patients who typically have more complications with standard implants.
