First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) exercises to standard care helps people who had a hip replacement. Sixty patients, all at least 60 years old and six weeks past surgery, took part. The goal was to see if these exercises could improve pain, balance, movement, and fear of falling better than usual care alone.
