First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looked at whether adding special exercises (called proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) to standard care helps people who had hip replacement surgery. The researchers measured pain, disability, balance, and fear of falling in 60 patients aged 60 and older. The goal was to see if these exercises improve recovery more than usual care alone.
