New study aims to find best pain relief for hip replacement patients

Summary

This study looks at two different methods of numbing the hip area after hip replacement surgery. About 102 adults having planned hip replacement will be randomly assigned to receive one of two pain-block combinations. The goal is to see which approach provides better pain control and reduces the need for strong painkillers.
