10-Year checkup: how well does this hip implant hold up?
NCT ID NCT03672929
Summary
This study followed 197 people who received a specific brand of total hip replacement to see how well the implant performed over 10 years. The goal was to track how many implants lasted without needing replacement surgery and to measure improvements in patients' pain, mobility, and quality of life. Researchers collected data through regular check-ups, X-rays, and patient questionnaires for a decade after surgery.
