Summary
This study looked at two types of hip replacement surgery for active older adults (65+) who broke the top part of their thigh bone inside the hip joint. One surgery replaced the whole hip joint, and the other replaced only the ball part. The goal was to see which one led to better pain relief and movement. Forty people took part, and their recovery was tracked using a standard hip function score.
