Hip surgery blood loss battle: cemented vs. uncemented implants
NCT ID NCT07492212
Summary
This study aims to find out if using a cemented or uncemented implant during hip replacement surgery leads to less blood loss. Less bleeding could mean fewer transfusions, lower risk of complications like heart problems, and a faster recovery. Researchers will compare the two methods in 86 patients needing a total hip replacement.
