New Hands-On approach tested for chronic hip pain
NCT ID NCT07285876
Summary
This study tested whether adding specific massage techniques for the lower back and pelvis to standard physical therapy could better help people with a painful hip condition called femoroacetabular impingement syndrome (FAIS). Twenty participants with FAIS received either standard therapy alone or standard therapy plus these extra mobilizations. Researchers measured changes in hip pain, movement, balance, and function after six weeks to see if the combined approach was more effective.
