New nerve block offers hope for lasting hip pain relief
NCT ID NCT07427238
Summary
This study looked at two ways to manage chronic hip pain from arthritis. It compared a standard steroid injection into the joint against that same injection plus a special nerve-blocking injection. Researchers reviewed the records of 50 patients to see which combination provided better and longer-lasting pain relief and improved movement over six months.
