New Hands-On treatment tested for Athlete's groin pain

NCT ID NCT05716204

Summary

This study aimed to test if a specific hands-on therapy could help athletes with long-term groin and hip pain (called osteitis pubis). It planned to compare the therapy against a placebo treatment to see which was better at reducing pain, improving leg strength, and helping athletes return to normal function and sports. The study was designed for athletes who had experienced this pain for at least three months.
