New combo injection eases hip arthritis pain better than steroids alone

Summary
This study looked at whether adding a nerve block (PENG block) to a standard steroid injection can better relieve hip pain from osteoarthritis. Fifty adults with long-term hip pain that didn't improve with other treatments took part. The results suggest the combination may provide better pain relief and improve daily function.
