Summary
This study is testing whether patients who have had a hip or knee replacement need fewer routine follow-up appointments. It will compare the standard practice of a one-year check-up with a new approach where patients only come in if they have concerns. The goal is to see if reducing these visits is safe, maintains good patient outcomes, and saves healthcare resources.
