NCT ID NCT07299591

First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looks at how antibiotics work in the hip joint after surgery for a hip replacement infection. Researchers will use a small probe to measure antibiotic levels right in the joint space during the hospital stay. The goal is to understand how well the antibiotics reach the joint and if that helps prevent the infection from coming back. About 30 adults having two-stage hip revision surgery will take part.
