New hip implant study aims to find which material wears less

Summary

This study compares two types of hip implant materials to see which one wears down less over time. About 96 people aged 55-80 getting a hip replacement will be enrolled. Researchers will use X-rays and special software to measure implant wear. The goal is to gather data, not to provide a new treatment.
