Hip fracture surgery timing: early vs. delayed for blood thinner patients

Summary
This study looks at hip fracture patients who take blood thinners (DOACs). Doctors often delay surgery to avoid bleeding, but waiting may cause other problems. The study compares operating within 24 hours versus waiting longer to see if early surgery increases the need for blood transfusions. About 374 adults will take part.
