New 3D software aims to make hip fracture surgery faster and safer
NCT ID NCT04494672
Summary
This study is testing a new 3D computer navigation system called ADAPT to see if it helps surgeons perform hip fracture surgery better. The software creates a virtual model of the patient's hip to guide screw placement. Researchers want to know if using this system leads to more accurate screw positioning, shorter surgery times, less radiation exposure during the operation, and fewer complications like screws cutting out of the bone.
