Can doctors better predict who survives a broken hip?

NCT ID NCT06961253

Summary

This study is testing ten existing medical tools designed to predict a patient's risk of dying within 30 days after breaking a hip. Researchers will use the medical records of 3,500 patients to see which prediction tools are most accurate and useful in real hospitals. The goal is to help doctors and patients have better conversations about treatment options and risks.
