Chill out: cooling therapy aims to soothe Chemo's painful side effect

NCT ID NCT07345221

Summary

This study is testing if a cooling device, called hilotherapy, can help reduce nerve pain and improve comfort for breast cancer patients receiving a common chemotherapy drug. The device cools patients' hands and feet before, during, and after their chemotherapy sessions. Researchers will compare the comfort and quality of life of 60 patients who use the device to those who receive standard care.
