NCT ID NCT07174180
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at how wearing a hijab (headscarf and cloak) affects heat loss in young women exercising in hot, dry conditions. Twelve healthy women aged 18-35 will do moderate exercise in a 40°C room while researchers measure body temperature, heart rate, and how much heat they lose. The goal is to understand if the hijab makes it harder to stay cool during physical activity.
