Could a Fast-Paced walk speed up leg fracture recovery?
NCT ID NCT05274022
Summary
This study tested if a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) walking program could help people recover better from serious leg fractures. It involved 66 adults who had surgery for a broken thigh or shin bone. Researchers compared the new walking program to standard physical therapy to see if it improved strength, walking ability, and the chance of returning to work.
