First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at how doing high-intensity interval training (HIIT) in different places—like a green park, an outdoor track, or an indoor gym—affects stress, heart health, thinking skills, and mood. Twenty-five healthy college students aged 18 to 25 will do a 15-minute jump-rope HIIT session in each setting. Researchers will measure stress hormones, heart rate, blood pressure, and cognitive tests before and after exercise to see if the environment makes a difference.
