First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests whether high-intensity interval training (HIIT) — short, intense exercise with rest breaks — can reduce liver fat in adults aged 35–65 with fatty liver disease and related health risks like obesity or diabetes. Participants will follow a personalized exercise plan based on a heart-lung fitness test. The goal is to see if this time-efficient workout is safe and effective for improving liver health.
