Double-Dose radiation may boost survival in aggressive lung cancer
NCT ID NCT07015892
First seen Apr 17, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving higher doses of radiation twice a day, along with standard chemotherapy, can help people with limited-stage small cell lung cancer live longer without the cancer growing. About 300 adults with early-stage disease that hasn't spread will be randomly assigned to one of three radiation schedules. The goal is to find a more effective treatment that improves survival and quality of life while managing side effects.
