First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study is testing a new device that takes detailed PET-CT pictures of a tumor right after it is removed during surgery. The goal is to help surgeons see if any cancer cells are left behind, so they can remove more tissue if needed. About 50 adults with solid tumors will take part. The device is used outside the body and does not change the standard surgery or add extra visits.
