Protein and pumping iron: a new recipe to beat the weight rebound?
NCT ID NCT07113561
Summary
This study is testing if a high-protein diet combined with strength training is better than a standard low-calorie diet for helping people with obesity keep weight off long-term. Sixty adults with obesity will follow a weight loss diet for 10 weeks, then try to maintain their weight for 42 weeks. One group will eat a high-protein diet and do supervised strength training, while the other follows a standard balanced diet.
