Doctors test how much pressure helps breathing in emergency cases

NCT ID NCT07503509

Summary

This study aims to understand how different pressure settings on breathing machines affect patients with dangerously low oxygen levels. Researchers will monitor 50 adults with respiratory failure while adjusting pressure levels, measuring changes in oxygen levels, breathing patterns, and heart function. The goal is to gather detailed information about how the body responds to various pressure settings to potentially guide future treatment approaches.
