First seen Feb 11, 2026 · Last updated May 29, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at whether high-intensity functional training can improve physical performance and mental health in elderly people with sarcopenia (age-related muscle loss). Sixty participants aged 60-70 will be split into two groups: one doing intense exercises 3 times a week for 10 weeks, and the other doing sham exercises. The goal is to see if the training helps with balance, strength, and walking.
