First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study compares two types of exercise for people with COPD who recently left the hospital after a flare-up. One group does high-intensity strength training with heavy weights and few repetitions, while the other does traditional endurance training. The goal is to see which approach is easier to tolerate and better at improving muscle strength and daily function.
