First seen Jan 21, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests whether high-intensity laser therapy can reduce pain and improve movement in people with trapezius myofascial pain syndrome, a common cause of neck and shoulder discomfort. About 104 adults with at least four weeks of pain will receive either real or sham laser treatment. Researchers will measure pain, neck motion, daily function, and mood right after treatment and again 16 weeks later.
