First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests whether adding high-dose vitamin C to standard chemotherapy (azacitidine and venetoclax) is safe and effective for adults newly diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) who cannot tolerate intensive chemo. About 30 participants will be randomly assigned to receive standard care alone or with vitamin C. The main goals are to check for side effects and see how many patients achieve remission.
