First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study compares a high-dose oral omeprazole pill to the standard intravenous pantoprazole drip for preventing rebleeding in people with bleeding peptic ulcers after successful endoscopic treatment. About 128 adults with active bleeding ulcers will be enrolled. The goal is to see if the oral option works just as well, is more convenient, and costs less.
