Massive 20,000-Person study tests blood pressure pill safety

Summary
This study is observing how well two different combination pills work to control high blood pressure and what side effects patients experience. It will follow 20,000 adults with high blood pressure for up to 2 years in their regular doctor's offices. The goal is to gather real-world information on how effective these medications are at lowering blood pressure and preventing heart problems over time.
